The Reverend Eric George Vickers, Sr., M.Div. serves with distinction as the Senior Pastor of the historic Beulah Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia and is a Doctor of Ministry student at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. A product of his grandmothers love, sacrifice and prayers, the Pontiac, Michigan native has committed his life to inspiring people with the Gospel from the neighborhoods to the nations. A caring shepherd, courageous servant and creative scholar, Rev. Vickerspassion for faithful exposition and social justice has yielded opportunities to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the United States and around the world.

Pastor Vickers was called to the Beulah pulpit on Sunday, May 29, 2016. Favored with a storied history of strong leadership and trailblazing service, Beulah continues this legacy through dynamic spiritual growth, significant administrative strides and progressive infrastructural enhancements under Pastor Vickersenergizing tenure. Notable highlights include: membership increase, budget expansion, disaster relief efforts and a shift to daily operations. The church has executed a comprehensive technological upgrade, reestablished 501c(3) non-profit status, completed $500K in debt free campus improvements, revitalized existing ministries, formed new ministries and renewed focus on Christian education and community engagement. In all, Beulah is equipped to serve this age as a testament to God’s faithfulness.

Rev. Vickers was licensed and ordained by Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, Michigan. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College and the Master of Divinity degree from Emory Universitys Candler School of Theology. Rev. Vickers is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Prince Hall Masons, and the 100 Black Men of South Metro. He functions in denominational roles and is seated on several boards including the Fulton County Advisory Board for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta and the Citizens Advisory Board of the Atlanta Police Department. Rev. Vickersgreatest joy is the gift of his family. He is happily married to Mrs. Cierra Vickers, M.Ed. and they are the proud parents of Eric Jr. and Charese Madison Brielle.
